Vintage Breakout — Campus Ambassador Program

Please read these Terms & Conditions ("Terms") carefully before applying to or participating in the Vintage Breakout Campus Ambassador Program (the "Program"). By submitting an application or accepting a product from Vintage Breakout ("we," "us," "the Brand"), you ("Ambassador," "you") agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Program Overview
The Program is a pilot initiative in which selected college students at participating universities receive complimentary vintage clothing ("Product") in exchange for creating and sharing social media content featuring the Product, in accordance with these Terms.
Participation in the Program is voluntary, unpaid (see Section 5), and may be modified, paused, or discontinued by the Brand at any time.
2. Eligibility

You must be currently enrolled as a student at a university.

You must be at least 18 years old. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must review and co-sign these Terms on your behalf.

You must maintain an active, public social media account on at least one approved platform (Instagram and/or TikTok).

Selection is at the sole discretion of Vintage Breakout and is not guaranteed by submitting an application.
3. What You Receive
Selected Ambassadors will receive complimentary “Vintage Product”, the value and frequency of which will be determined by Vintage Breakout and may vary by Ambassador. Product is provided as a gift in connection with promotional consideration described in Section 4, not as payment for services.
4. Content & Disclosure Requirements
In exchange for Product, Ambassadors agree to the following:

Post content (photos, videos, and/or Stories) featuring the gifted Product on at least one approved social platform within 7 days of receiving it.

Clearly disclose the material connection in every post featuring gifted Product, using #giftedbyvintagebreakout and tagging @vintagebreakout, and/or using the platform's built-in "Paid Partnership"/branded content label where available. Disclosure must appear in the caption or on-screen — not buried in a hashtag block — and applies to every post and every platform on which the content appears, including Stories.

Ensure content is honest and reflects your genuine opinion of the Product.

Keep content appropriate and consistent with the Brand's image; refrain from posting content that is unlawful, defamatory, sexually explicit, or discriminatory.
You are solely responsible for complying with all applicable advertising and disclosure laws in your jurisdiction, including but not limited to FTC guidelines (in the U.S.) governing endorsements and material connections.
5. No Employment or Payment Relationship
Ambassadors are independent participants, not employees, agents, or contractors of Vintage Breakout. This program does not create an employment, partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship. Ambassadors receive no cash compensation; gifted Product is the sole consideration provided.
6. Content & Intellectual Property Rights

You retain ownership of the content you create.

By posting content featuring gifted Product, you grant Vintage Breakout a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to repost, reshare, and feature your content (with credit to your handle) on the Brand's social media accounts, website, and marketing materials.

You represent that your content will not infringe on the intellectual property, publicity, or privacy rights of any third party.
7. Taxes
Gifted Product may be considered taxable income depending on its value and your local tax laws. If the total value of Product you receive meets applicable IRS reporting thresholds (or equivalent thresholds outside the U.S.), Vintage Breakout may request your information for tax reporting purposes. You are responsible for any tax obligations arising from your participation in the Program.
8. Term & Termination

Either party may end an Ambassador's participation in the Program at any time, for any reason, with or without notice.

Vintage Breakout reserves the right to remove any Ambassador from the Program for failure to comply with these Terms, including failure to post required disclosures.

Sections 5, 6, 7, 9, and 10 survive termination.
